BRAVE presents: VIOLENCE THREAT RISK ASSESSMENT (VTRA), LEVEL 1: THEORY AND PRACTICE – TRAINING

2 Days Training Date: Monday, November 25th & Tuesday, November 26th, 2019 / 8:30am – 4:00pm (Registration starts at 8:30pm)
Facilitated by local trainers
Who: VTRA Training is designed for schools, police, social services, and mental health professionals.
What: VTRA Training will teach participants how to identify individuals or groups who are at risk of committing serious acts of violence. Using real world examples and case studies, participants will learn how to gather appropriate information and build data-driven assessments to determine if a threat-maker poses a risk to their target.
Why: VTRA Training increases a community’s capacity to intervene and effectively respond to threats of violence.
Cost: $100 Includes: Lunch for both days) (Subsidies available if needed)
